Open to members and friends of FUUN, participants of Covenant Groups commit (or make a covenant with each other—hence the name) to meet regularly from September to May, discussing a different topic at each meeting. The conversations are more focused than ordinary social interactions but more personal than a class on a philosophical topic. The members of the group draw on their own personal experiences and beliefs as they explore significant questions together. Usually, the groups meet for 90 minutes twice a month. Typically, there are six to twelve people in a group; although each group writes its own covenant, confidentiality is central to all groups. Groups could meet in person or online.
